Join the discussion on Stainless Steel Bottle Cup: | | | | Stainless Steel Providers... | | (Industrial music fans just got a wee bit excited... but sorry, it's about something else!)Okay, we're not ready YET, but my wife and I are still pre-house hunting... looking through real estate mags and site, checking into mortgages at the bank, getting rid of our credit card debt, finding out about bridge loans, etc....anyway...I noticed a BIG thing nowadays is all the stainless steel appliances... fridges, stoves, ovens, ranges, microwaves, dish washers, etc....even stainless steel counter tops!Well, call me a traditionalist, but this REALLY doesn't do it for me. I realise to some, this is the HEIGHT of kitchen interior decorating, but to me, it's like going to a health care clinic at the hospital... or worse, a morgue...So tell me, am I nuts? Is stainless steel the way to go? Clean-ability over old tyme aesthetics?To boil it down... do you like AND would you pay more money for a home with stainless steel stuff? | |

| | | | | Barter system for old clothes. | | Do you know, that you can barter your old clothes for new stainless steel utensils.Some years ago, these kind of vendors use to come to our houses, and usually they take the old clothes, and in return give new stainless steel utensils. My mother usually collected a lot of clothes, and exchanged them for the utensils. Later on, instead of stainless steel utensils, it changed to plastic things like mugs, and buckets. Now days I do not see such kind of vendors in our city. Have you had any experience like this.Share it with all of us. | |
