Is there such a thing as a spill proof sippy cup?
I think I have tried every single sippy cup out there on the market - all the name brands, the generic brands, etc. etc. No matter what I try, my daughter still seems to somehow know how to make these cups leak! It makes me mad because almost all of them promise to be Spill Proof or leak proof...and yet somehow I still find they leak like crazy when she sets them down or turns them upside down. Some of them she's liked to play with because they do leak so well! It's frustrating especially when you consider some of these cups are $5-$10 a piece! I wouldn't mind paying more if it actually worked - but some of the more expensive ones I've tried are actually the worst!Have any of you had this same experience with sippy cups? Is there such a thing as a cup for toddlers/babies that don't leak? Any recommendations that maybe I haven't tried?
keyboard cleaning
Does anyone have any good tips on the best way to clean your keyboard?? I used to use those dust picking up cloths on it but my 3 year old decided that my keyboard needed some more "flavour" and has emptied nearly a whole jar of fine pepper on it!! I've shaken it upside down and tried to remove what I can ... but I can see little brown bits everywhere!!So without having to resort to paying for a new keyboard[this one is less than a month old!] - is there anyway to clean it or do I just have to put up with it!!Help me please!!!!!!!
Cleaning Sippy Cups
Okay my son has a ton of silly cups and I wash them all by hand. But the pictures are coming off, I thought by washing them by hand they would last longer than putting them in the dishwasher. I buy the insulated spill proof kind and they are expensive!! And I don't want him walking around with a sippy cup where the picture is coming off...it looks tacky!! How do you wash your kids sippy cups??
Have you heard of Tummy Ticklers?
I found these in the juice isle a while back. They are basically re-usable sippy cups that have cartoon characters heads as the lids (I chose Charlie Brown, Woodstock and Snoopy) and are filled with 100% apple juice. For three of them I think the price was like $6.00. To me that seemed like a steal. They're completely dishwasher safe, totally re-usable and absolutely adorable. They're much cuter than normal sippy cups because they have the character heads on them, and they are already filled with juice. What a deal huh? Also, they are actually spill proof, unless you squeeze it really hard (harder than my strong as an Ox two year old can squeeze). I can get liquid to come out if I squeeze it, but he never has. You can hold them upside down and shake and shake and they never drip. Anyone found any other deals like this they'd like to share?
Sippy Cups~It's hard getting them clean...
I hate it when i find a sippy cup under the sofa or in the toy box. I hate having to throw them away. I finally found a good way to clean the nozzle. I use a small paintbrush and of course, antibacterial soap. the brush makes it easier to reach into the nozzle and the spill proof valve. Do you have any tips?
