He doesn't sing, just narrates, but it has a slide show to illustrate the piece. If you'd like to see it, it's at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sekHkR5BKOYYou'll feel good after you hear it, it says everything that's great about the country and its people. | |
| | | Do you remember John Wayne? | | How many of you can remember watching John Wayne in the movies? Did you know that he starred in 170 movies? A number of them he was just an extra when he was first starting out, I guess.I remember watching John Wayne, and I remember when he died. He was one of and probably still is one of my favorite actors ever. What about you? Do you remember anyone else who was ever so popular? | |
| | I wish I could be just like John Wayne | | Many people admired John Wayne, as well as many other stars. My father wanted to be James Dean and I call my daughter Scarlet O'Hara because she is so dramatic sometimes. Have you ever wished you could be like one of the stars or have you ever been told you look like one? Which star would you like to be most like? | |
| | | John Wayne would have been 100 on May 26, 2007 if he were still alive. | | I have enjoyed watching his movies for a LOOOOOOOONG TIME. I have seen, and have, movies with him in them and he was not overweight, and sang. In his earlier movies, which were black and white by the way, he was almost always THE GOOD GUY. I have two of his movies that I could watch anytime. The movies are...Angel and the Badman, and also The Green Berets. The reasons I have for liking both of these are that they show what a man can accomplish if he TRULY WANTS TO DO BETTER, and also show WHAT A DETERMINED MAN CAN DO WHEN HIS BACK IS AGAINST THE WALL. Does anyone else have any favorite movies of his, and why do you like them? Thank you for your response, in advance. | |
