| James Dean parade is done now it's time to think christmas | | Well we finsihed the James Dean parade today our girl scout troop was in it. Yes now it's time to start thinking christmas already Our town of Marion has what is known as the walkway of lights they decorate the park it's absoutley beautiful plus they have parade really close to christmas time and even though it only the end of septemeber our next meeting we are going to start working and planning for our float for the christmas parade it's going to be a lot of work but also a lot of fun our theme for our float is going to be M & M's (yes the candy) not sure how were going to do the actual float itself yet but for the girls theyre going to dress up as packages of M & M's or an M & M candy it's going to be really cute Im really excited about this one. This is mine and my girls first year doing girl scouts and Im also a leader for the daisy I am have a lot of fun with this I just as much as my girls LOL. | |
| | James Dean and Ducktail run | | I live about 20 minutes from James Dean's hometown and every year they have a hugh thing it runs from fairmount to gas city and the surrounding areas everything and anything that has to do with James Dean I think it's really neat to see some of the old time cars, this year is going to be exciting for us because our girl scout troop was asked to partipate in the parad are girls are so excited in our little small town this is something big for us and our troop to be able to take part in and tonight (tuesday night) is our weekly meeting night needless to say there was quit a bit of stuff to cover tonight Im the leader for the daisy Im glad that I have tomorrow and thursday off cause after tonight and then preparing for saturday activities Im exhausted of course I have to work on my term paper for my classes Im taking so I will probably be doing that as well as the other stuff. It seems like I stay busy no matter if Im at work or doing something else it's never a dull moment and I love it. My girls are so excited and proud I know the next three days it's going to be non stop talking about the parade on saturday. Just curious has anyone ever been to it. Actually, this was borrowed from the prevailing philosophy of the Hippie era, perhaps as a means to justify the many who died of drug overdoses, or the deaths of John F. Kennedy, his brother Bobby, and Martin Luther King. From Janis Joplin to Jimi Hendrix to Jim Morrison, the toll of self-medicating must have been seen, but yet it wasn't. Or maybe driving too fast. | Actors and Actresses that died too early... | | Aside from Heath Ledger, I think there are so many actors and actresses who died too early. River Phoenix died too early, so did James Dean and Brad Renfro. I think they're all brilliant thespians and they could've made more great movies and could've given a lot more award-winning performances had they lived a little longer.River Phoenix would have had Keanu Reeves, Tom Cruise's or Johnny Depp's career right now if he didn't die of drug overdose. But glasses which were more of a Visual aid have now emerged as a Style STateMent!!!
Be it the AVIATors the tear shaped lens and thin metal frames or the wayfarers- popularized by celebrities like James dean..
Their are many brands that bring out glasses in tune with the more recent and fashionable trends...
I fact most of us, be it teenagers or adults do own a pair of glasses ...
and I personally feel that you do look a little different and stylish with those framed lenses on!!!
