| | | How do you like your coffee? | | I woke up around 7 am and like always I headed to Coffee Bean, to get my morning coffee. As I was preparing my coffee (a lot of milk, 2 splendas, vanilla powder) I notice the person next to me, he just put, 1 sugar and place the lid to the cup. So, I couldn't help thinking how many ways are there to prepare 1 cup of coffee? How do you like your coffee? | |
| | Why do people say decaf is as good? | | Why do people claim decaf is as good when it really isnt LOL I think decaf is awful and it you are going to have coffee then have strong blow your head off coffee, not a poor comparrison LOL | |
| | Coffee Addiction... Could You Quit? | | If your doctor told you you must give up coffee or switch to decaf would you be able to do it?If you don't drink coffee, lets use soda instead. If you don't drink soda, lets use cigarettes instead. If you don't smoke, lets ues alcohol instead. If you don't do any of these things, how long have you been a Mormon? | |
| | A Tasty Alternative | | When you are so used to drinking or eating a particular drink or food respectively and suddenly you have to take an alternative due to ill health, diet or GP recommendation are you reluctant to change or do you happily try and alternative and then decide whether to change? For example
A nurse I had to see last week has strongly advised me to cut my caffeine intake as it is causing me a lot of internal problems, I won't bore you with the details but she has asked me to slowly wean myself off caffeine, but NOT to do it drastically, she has recommended I try decaff coffee instead of normal coffee and to cut back on the pepsi and even hot chocolate has caffeine in it!So I got myself a jar of decaff coffee I was reluctant at first, I always have my coffee black, I hate milk in coffee and I have my two sweeteners and here comes the wolfie testIt was really nice! I couldn't believe the taste, there is no difference and now I have totally switched from normal coffee to decaff! So have you ever tried an alternative, healthy one to a drink or a food that you have enjoyed in the past but have had to change
| | What do you have for breakfast? | | People have different preferences for breakfast. And, different nationalities have a variety of things for breakfast too.
For me, my preference is cornflake cereal, fried eggs, scrambled or over-easy, pancakes, and decaf coffee.
What are your preferences? Any specialialties?the taste, there is no difference and now I have totally switched from normal coffee to decaff! So have you ever tried an alternative, healthy one to a drink or a food that you have enjoyed in the past but have had to change
| | Non-Caffeinated Starbucks? | | Out of curiosity, do you ever purchase non-caffeinated (or decaf) coffee from Starbucks? Why or why not?I think it's interesting. Many of my friends claim they want Starbucks for the energy, but end up purchasing a cream Frappucino - which has no caffeine! My guess? They taste good. But why would you get a regular, tall decaf coffee that's probably pretty expensive? | |
| | Starbucks to Stop Brewing Decaf After Noon | | This certainly wouldn't bother me any since I don't drink decaf at any time but what I found interesting about this news is that Starbucks plans to save $400 MILLION by September by doing this. I heard on TV that they waste that much by all the decaf coffee that gets poured out.http://www.bizjournals.com/stlouis/stories/2009/01/26/daily40.html?ana=from_rssMy question is, how could it take them so long to figure out they were pouting hundreds of millions of dollars down the drain?
