| Please Tell Me About Your Favourite Coffee Cup!! | | I have two favourite Coffee Cups. Well more than two, but one belongs to a set of dishes, where there are many matching cups. One favourite cup is the mug that my friend, who owns a Second Cup cafe gave me, just before I went to Arizona for half a year. It was so nice to have my Second Cup coffee mug, a little something from home. My other favourite, the one from the set, is a cup and saucer that is white with a very wide red border, and a thin gold border on the very edge. The cup is white on the bottom and red on top with the gold border, and the saucer is white in the middle, red around the outside, with gold on the edge. My Morfar (Danish for Mom's Dad) helped me choose those dishes when I first moved in here, and red and white are very popular colours in Denmark, because of the Danish flag. This applies to coffee drinking at home.Do you search for the cup you like or do you just grab whatever one is handy?
I like to use the same mug for my coffee. Its at least fifteen years old and I feel like the mug is a good friend of mine. I wash it regularly and keep it by the coffee maker.I got a new mug for Christmas. It has emblems of my favorite football team. One of my sons friends gave it to me as a present.My problem is this... I like the mug but its made in China and covered in glossy paint. I'm afraid to use it because I fear its tainted with lead paint. I use this mug for pencils now, and the gift giver is asking why I don't use it for coffee. I just lied and told him I didn't want to damage the cup by using it everyday.

I like my coffee hot and therefore I have a big cup and I take a lot at the same time. I have small cups to, but only use them when I get friends over. I have 2 coffee mugs I use everyday, one is regular sized light blue mug and simply says "friends" engraved on it, it was a "just because" gift from a young friend of mine I used to babysit for and now we share our PS2 Games with other. What's yours?I usually like to drink out of a heavy pint glass because it's almost the ideal size for me and it's easy to hold and such...
